I wish it were as simple as that, Brooke (and perhaps when the glitch is solved, it will turn out to be a very simple oversite. I have indeed set up the system as instructed, and when I double click the globe icon, the program correctly analyzes my current files, decides what needs to be downloaded, and then tries to access the web site. That's when the drop box appears, because for some reason or another, the ID/PW are not being accepted (they are the correct ones, as directed by Gary).

Unfortunately, I am not able to access by phone. The 800 number is not accessable from Canuck land. Gary, however, has kindly put the updates up on the web site, with the same type of access as for version 1 (using the new general ID/PW, however), but each day needs to be accessed separately. So, I have been able to update my files, but I just cannot do it (yet) automatically.
