Shane you are correct.

I am amazed at the analysts. One week is one thing two weeks a 180 degree turn around.

At 15 1/2 (173 days ago) Bay Networks was a SELL maybe a hold. Everyone said there is no way this dud would make it. BAY hits 35+ a 133% increase in a less than six months and then they all like it. Last year September 13, 1996 KLIC was a sell at 8 3/4. Today KLIC is at 54. After a 517% increase in value and it is now good.

What nonsence is for brokers to like a stock at $ 55 then change their mind after it goes below 40.

I believe it is very very important to read between the lines. The down grades were "short term" with a long term rating of a buy.

But what does short term mean? Is it two days, one week or one month or is it enough time for this guys to scare the market enough so that they can get their fingers on a cheap stock.

All IMHO.

Happy Investing. (see you at 55 by next qtr)
