well Catholic Church specific rules are rules

Wanna explain that? What if a Catholic tells the priest to stuff his rules, he is only going by the Word, how will the church handle that?

In the situation of child abuse, it creates an very complex dilemma.

Forgiveness, certainly , yes, for those that ask, yet to LEAVE them in the position to repeat the offense is nutty. and IMO, there is not perpetual forgiveness for one who CONTINUES to "live in" sin, and I believe I can back that up in scripture.

The Clergy I have known are kind and very giving individuals.

I have known some that way and some I would not give a nickel for, same as some other denominational clergy.

Now as to praying to Mary or the idea of the Rosary. It's not in any way a deification.

So...then I could pray to Ralph...or Grady.....or Sally...and it would do just as good, correct?
