The Intel dual processor offerings are IMHO a charade. All traffic has to go off-chip to a memory controller and that really slows down the concept. Intel is able to maintain the charade only so long, and it's not long enough to come up with a design that is competative with AMD. I think Dell will have to find a way to offer AMD or it will have to wait a year or two for Intel to play catchup, or it will resign itself to the lowest of low margins part of the market. For disclosure, I still have about 1500 shares of Dell and just over 1000 of Intel. I don't want to see them do poorly, but I fear they will. TP
