I need advice on allocating $50,000 [$25000 initially] into Put options for Oct--Jan timeframe. Could you provide some specific positions and the methods used to roll forward positions going against you, at what point in the cycle? I'm finding the premiums with Index Options are so high for Oct near the money Puts, that all my money could be lost in one bad month. Or would you favor Puts on select stocks, partially or totally? Thanx!
