Both are excellant. CRB looks very good at this time. I am hoping that it will continue to move slow and easy, I am not interested in these big gaps up.
Let me make a few wild projections:
1. Bill C. will soon unfold his major tax cut package and both parties will move to BLOW the budget.
2. It will come to pact that the amount of gold on the books will be found to be must less than first thought. Why? I suspect that it also has been double counted. When central banks have made their gold loans, I suspect they have been carrying it on their books at the same time as ABX or whoever has counted it on there books as gold sold to .. jewelery mfgrs. I suspect the rationale is that they will be paid back in bullion even though their probably bailout clauses that allow them to be paid in currency (tied to spot prices). I would love to here if anyone has any data of this rambling.
3. CRB is heading to a new high.
4. Talk will evolve in the body politic to change the Cola to be tied not to the CPI but to a "more acrute" inflation measure.
5. Inflation will continue to be declared to be dead but a new term will be applied to the increase cost of consumables. And this minor area will increase dramatically -- the prices to the you and I are going through the roof.
6. The powers to be will redefine gold as a non-indicator and of course it will dramatically move upward.

Dundee ( very interested in other oppinions on the possible counting of available gold) Maples
