"Come back very very strongly this month" - Based on what?

...Hype ?

AMD has been strongest in desktop computers, and moved past Intel in retail sales of those products in September, Current Analysis says. Intel dominates the faster-growing market for laptops, aided by a heavily promoted brand for a combination of chips called Centrino.
But AMD has boosted its share of that retail niche, which stood at less than 20% in June, to 31.5% in October, Current Analysis found.

I think AMD's momentum in the mobile space may get even better.
The notebook DRM industry works 3-6 months ahead of what we are seeing in retail "now", so I presume they are very happy with AMD's growth in mobile and will be more than happy to continue relationships!
Although we are seeing notebook retail prices go down, I would guess that the difference in price is maybe that "extra" money Intel is used to collecting for the Centrino package.
i.e. nobody is hurting by having cheaper notebooks on the shelves - except maybe Intel ?
