When Dinkins was mayor of New York, there were three days of racial riots in Brooklyn. He ordered the police to keep away and avoid provoking the rioters. To give New Yorkers credit, that was one of the chief reasons why they threw Dinkins out and elected Rudi Giuliani. But it can happen here. It would happen, if the liberals had their way.
