RE: the decision points should be: efficacy, costs, and quality of life. I agree, however... i'd also love to see the biotech industry focus more efforts on improving in vitro diagnostic technologies in conjunction with genomics and proteomics. i'm a believer in proactive tactics involving the future of diagnostics. don't you think this would further fuel the revolution against cancer and truly improve efficacy, drive down costs and enhance quality of life? Prognosis is the future.
