Manny:

Thanks, hadn't noticed it coming back. Did the other avflu plays also come back hard today? Did bcrx come back because of the mention re. clinical trials starting in January?

My interest in BCRX is -- and has been -- the PNP program. I was lucky enough to catch a webcast that mentioned the neuraminidase inhibitor just as traders were looking for a ride on irrational fear. Scalped it for size and retained a smaller chunk which I sold as it went skyward. In total, took very little profit compared to what I would have, even holding the entire big chunk to today's low close. Basis was 9.99, so that should give you an idea of how I botched the scalp. Retained chunk went out door at 13.51 on the way up.

:-(

It looked good, to me, due to downside protection supplied by the PNP program (beyond frodo), or I wouldn't have touched it. It's not my style to ride a company that is not fundamentally strong on science, and most of the avian flu floaters are going to come back hard imo.

Yes, if I get an op to buy it back at $10, I may take it. Yes, I'm still positive on the potential for peramivir. Despite the hysteria, we're not all facing H5N1 tomorrow.

Best! Rick
