I agree that the Shia & Kurds don't want a Sunni dictatorship. The rest of what you said is questionable. You might want to refresh your memory on the last free election in Algeria for example. Or even Iran.

Also you should recall there is a UN resolution calling for democracy in Iraq. Kofi Annan said recently 70 countries are helping out in some manner to realize it. Are you opposed to this international effort - simply because Bush is for it?

Bush seems to screw up a lot of things he tries, but I know of no law saying he has to. When he does reasonable things I gladly support him. BTW, increasing the price of oil, IMO was one good thing. He deserves the credit for that, but I doubt he really likes it :)
