Actually, I had heard of Libby years ago...He has been in the inner circle of policy maven for years. Had you not heard of him? He was a close confident of Cheney's. Known in some circles as Cheney's Cheney. Some feel his influence was quite substantial in policy matters. Chief of Staff and NSA to the Vice President. How could you miss him? I could send you some links from back in 2002-2003 that refer to his roles if you are interested.
