I still hold that the US of A cannot afford to lose solid, middle class blue collar jobs because not everyone is going to be an engineer and, besides, it's just as easy to digitize and export an engineering job as it is to export a line manufacturing job. When did we come to believe that everyone in the US of A was going to be an office 'knowledge' worker when lots of people refuse to balance their checkbooks?
