C-COR to Provide Equipment For @Home Network

STATE COLLEGE, Pa., Sept. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- C-COR Electronics, Inc.
(Nasdaq-NNM:CCBL) announced that the company will be providing hybrid fiber-coax
(HFC) equipment to @Home Network (Nasdaq:ATHM - news) for use in its new technical
facility to test and develop high-speed Internet applications and services for its customers.
The test lab, which will be located at @Home Network's headquarters in Redwood City,
California, will be installing C-COR's new FlexNet(R) 900 Series amplifiers, and
FlexNode(TM) fiber optic nodes and other headend AM fiber optics.

@Home Network uses cable modems and its own network architecture to provide high-speed

equipment provider for @Home. High-speed data is emerging as the most significant new
revenue-generating opportunity for cable operators, not only in North America, but
throughout the world. The service is meeting the customers' need for faster on-line access and
leverages the technology advantages of HFC by providing cost-effective, high bandwidth
and scaleable solutions.''

@Home Network Director of Cable Systems Jamie Howard added, ``C-COR's equipment
will play an integral role in helping @Home continue to develop communications solutions.
C-COR has demonstrated a strong track record for being an industry leader, and we look
