How do you and John feel about the "excess profits tax" that congress is considering for the oil companies?

I ordinarily really hate this kind of meddling from government. The problem is, I feel the last tax bill encouraged gas guzzing with its tax breaks for giant SUVs, and once you start meddling with the tax code to incent usage, its fair game to tax profits.

I was SHOCKED at XOMs latest report. What a waste.

Betcha we consume more food per capita than anyone else, too. Nope, Germans consume more.
