Excellent post ECAC. I think SSPIF has been in on the ground floor with TI during the development of C6x. This seems to be proven out by the fact that Mr. Wages, former TI DSP Marketing Manager, joined SSPIF in April. When a customer comes to TI for a chip, TI is going to steer the customer to SSPIF for application solutions. This gives SSPIF a remarkable advantage in the industry. I'm sure Mr. Wages knew that before leaving TI. TI will naturally encourage other DSP companies to join the TI fold, but I don't think anyone else will have the inside track like SSPIF.

Saw an interesting statement how TI has double the DSP market of LU and other companies combined.
