SONS (IL/A): Time to start looking for entry points again
November 9, 2005

As underlying business trends continue to suggest 20-30% sales growth, shorter term oriented investors should be looking for entry points as shares head lower. Momentum in Europe and Japan provide confidence in the outlook. Similar to our previous trading recommendations in our May 9th note that highlighted an attractive entry point or our Aug 9th note that recommended profit taking on further strength in shares, we are using the same logic - look for entry point following disappointments due to delays in rev recognition in a given qtr, and sell into the following qtrs strength that typically somewhat benefits from the delay in rev recognition. It is important to keep in mind that on a qtr to qtr basis we believe SONS has little to no visibility with regards to rev recognition and the order rate may also be lumpy. We maintain our IL/A rating and would use shares as a trading vehicle.
