BC: I believe (why believe? 'Cause in the MonksterNet, these entities communicate in riddles) I understand what he meant. He tried to use Technical Analysis to rationalize a SCAM. His conclusion: SCAM starts with nothing and will end with nothing for the new shareholders.
When BIG money is involved, every single outcome will happen by design, not by chance. Why is the boy bad-mouthing his former parents? I meditated and offer my humble possible answers:
1.The present parents are in deep trouble. He knows that the toolsets are not ready for the public. He knows that time is running out. He knows the competitors have better and faster toolsets and are making sales gains. He also knows that significant sales number won't come in until the 2Q 98. Meanwhile the present 3Q will be in deep red. How come? With zero sales from his toolsets and government contracts "recompeting" on one hand, and increasing hyping expense to silence their critics and creating several new VP overheads to paint rosy pictures on the other, how could they possibly be NOT in deep red? The loss in the 3Q will be horrendous to say the least, IMHO.
2.The former parents are making noises to tout his old toy. Conference calls, testing results and roadshows will hurt the present parents because they have the same toy. Since it is the strategy of the present parents to squelch all critics, the boy has no choice but to yell out loud.
3.The toy sucks. His toy was original designed for migration and data fixing without any concepts of Y2K remediation. Because of greed, it was then retrofitted with Y2K patches. It has been more than 1 « years and they still doesn't have real marketable products. No real products, no real contracts and no meaningful sales.
4.The alliance is in deep sh*t. They know what the terms of the alliance are and they also know the bottom line if their toy makes it to the showroom. I suspect that IMHO, the final number will be very insignificant, knowing the pricing practice of their partner. If you have doubts, call up some other MIS shops that deal with their partner and check them out. Besides, their partner already has new tools that make their toy obsolete. Heck, they might even show a LOSS in this raw deal.
I welcome you thoughts.
