Can I trade stock with funds from the sale of another stock on the same day? Is this a cash or short term trade or is this margin? For example: Can I sell 100 shares of siii for $17 and then buy 100 shares of LGND @ 16 1/2 10 minutes later if I have no cash in the account? I get the impression from reading their info that I cannot but may have this option in the future.
