It's not that the CIA was pressured to lie about their findings. They probably wouldn't have done that anyway since they are patriotic. It's that the accurate assessments were ignored, buried, and their authors went unpraised. Any assessment that supported the Cheney position was met with a "You're doing a heck of a job ... ", and the information was passed on to Senators and clueless George. TP
