All I meant to say was I would like New Screen to be in as many homes as possible in whatever manner it takes.

By 'New Screen' I mean three things:

1) Its 24/7 feed (not likely for NBC etc., cause they have their own 24/7 stuff but I think this is the ONLY sales track at the moment - to cable companies and satellite companies to carry the 24/7 New Screen on a channel of the cable/satellite/FO operator, and

2) Individual program offerings from the new Screen archive. As New Screen has the rights to these, could they not be shown on NBC, say, and/or the rest, as a program called 'New Screen Tonight', say - with New Screen being a producer/outlet/whatever for that content on a continuing basis, just like there are production companies which produce most shows on TV and show them on but one network. We'll show our avant-garde stuff on one or as many as are clever enough to buy, and

3) Produce DVDs, like that one they have now, but on a continuing basis with a couple of hours or more content and mail it to folk for a fee, $5 or $10 each, or as a monthly subscription even, with a return mailer, if need be, and a follow up process. I, like many, am a customer of a movie club and pay ~$28/ month for pretty well unlimited discs. Something like that but New Screen controlled and New Screen programs. Or contact these movie clubs and get the discs as an offering on their services. Each disc with a theme, perhaps from one new film maker, or all short subjects, or with a yearly connotation - the best of 2000 - like that.

Goofy?

Maybe, but maybe goofy like a fox!

People, contrary to popular opinion, love quality and are willing to pay for it.

;-)
