<Be Still and Meditate.>

Although there is long Christian history of meditation to advance to higher levels, IMO the current state of most Christian traditions leaves a giant hole in this area. This is probably related to the current movement in the West to Buddhist type spiritual practices. The "Catechism" deals with prayer, reflection, and meditation, but when you consider the fact that: 1.) entire religions are devoted to "psychology" of the mind and 2.) Enormous {well being} benefits are reported, even scientifically, through psychology, meditation, etc. you'd think Christian traditions would dust off the old manuals {probably of the heretics they burned at the stake} and get moving. :))
