Mattie, thank for posting the piece on Barron's. Interestingly, I've been stopped out of two internet shorts in the past week. CyberCash, which was mentioned in the article, for one. If CYCH isn't bought out, it looks like a fine candidate for Chapter 11. There expenses are high and their revenues are almost nonexistant. Apollo Group for another. Apollo is the University of Pheonix. It's everyone's darling since it runs courses over the internet. IBD did a piece Friday on internet education. I thought it would kill the stock, since there were a great number of entrants in cyber-education mentioned in the article. Well, apparently, someone read the article differently, i.e. as an endorsement of the concept, and APOL was up up and away.

I think the internet stocks will make great shorts at some point. But shorting them can be tricky in a frothy market, as I learned to my financial displeasure..
