Blowing yourself up for a cause you believe in is not a cowardly act. We have given out Medals of Honor for that act.
No we don't, Bill. Blowing yourself up to avoid the dangers of combat would get you court martialed, like shooting yourself for the same purpose. If there were anything to be accomplished by a court martial at that point.

Bill got it right. Intentionally killing unarmed innocents is not an act of bravery- -it is cowardice. A brave man takes on an armed opponent.
