You've probably already seen this article (maybe a month ago), but if you scroll down to about the fourth page, there is a picture/diagram that shows market shares for the various processes in Semi-manufacturing.

I don't see Laser Lithography market share specifically; this would be more relevant. Does anyone have the market share breakdown for Laser Lithography? Anyway, for Steppers (aligners) they show Nikon 40%, Canon 30%, ASM Lithography 20%. So, by my math -g-, Japanese companies control about 70% of the stepper market. We've all read that they prefer to do business with themselves. What if Canon switches to Komatsu, as rumors say that Nikon has done. I'm not totally up on this, so I could easily be missing something here.
