I think the absence of anger is due to the fact that the US is at war in Iraq. Bush has very cleverly managed this by keeping more than 150,000 people in hostile territory without providing them the needed safety gear such as body armor etc.

I expect the outrage to grow against Bish not because of Karl Rove's fraud in 2004 elections but instead that he is putting the lives of 150,000 US lives in harm's way.
