We alternate crop the fields. Summer fallow and setback programs from the government are used. We do not green manure and have used anhydrous ammonia in the fields for 30 years. It would take some serious work to get 1000 acres ready for organic production and hemp would be the short way to do that. Hemp takes little to no bug protection. I have not had a chance to dig into this information yet. I will let you know what I hear.
