Thanks....This was an interesting comment::: There are lessons in France for the U.S., too. Advocates of multiculturalism might take note of what happens when ethnic communities are excluded (or exclude themselves) from the broad currents of national life. Opponents of immigration might take note of the contrast between France's impoverished Muslims and America's flourishing immigrant communities.

When people come to this country, and aren't required to learn English, they exclude themselves. And we are seeing in France the result of this....

The other thing we must be careful of is mislabeling "immigration"... There actually are 3 types:
1) Legal immigration
2) Illegal immigration
3) Refugees who are signed into the US by Executive Order.

Legal immigrants have sponsors, and mainly the US citizens go out of their way to help these people become productive citizens.

Illegal immigrants...are just that... Illegal. They should be removed from this country.

Refugees should be helped to assimilate as much as is possible.
