Let's flip for the first round, eh........what about a thread meeting, one of these days after the war's over, Walsh is replaced, and Bresea's back in business and trading? Too bad the World's Best Cantina is so far away, it would be the perfect place, it's just up and over a few streets from the baseball stadium in which I once choked on tear gas while ducking machine-gun bullets, somehow the memory reminds me of this thread at times. In the cantina, there are three languages, Espa¤ol, Chol, and Tzotzil. Each speaker of each language carries a viewpoint, an attitude, and a position.....but we all drink beer together while complaining of the price. Great botana, too (free food), one of my wives is currently staying with the owners and helping in the kitchen while taking a music course.
But then, there's a few good old BC beer parlors, too....I bet you and Adrian know the Marble Arch, eh ;-) ....... Salud!! ... marcos |
