In my research I have found that in Europe/Asia there have been a number of studies done using the Minolta AirSheild device and others from the mid eighties to date. clinlab.ru >>this site has A TON of information regarding these studies as well as hyperbilirubinemia.

As I understand it the Minolta device does not measure ALL races accurately.

This could be what the doctor has read about. Once word gets out on CCSI's device, which DOES measure all races accurately, IMO the doctor will actually see one used in his hospital!! ;-)
