I make money on the down spirals too. Well, my feeling tells me that the up coming drop is very shallow. And the spiral may have a tough time. It does not work well in consolidation stage. But it always catch up big waves. As from my observation, when spiral does not work well, the price will go with the primary trend eventually. That is makes perfect sense because after consolidation, the market will move on. So if you find you have to turn the spiral back and forth in days, you may consider to stop that and just go with the primary trend.
