There was no evidence of ANY WMD in Iraq in 2003. Many top Bushies lied to us about this, even after the invasion.

The final UN and US reports concluded after exhaustive searches that Saddam destroyed his WMD after the Gulf War. While there is a possibility some may have been hidden, many such agents do not keep well and would have degraded by now anyway. There is no evidence of any nuclear activity which along with the debunked rumors of Saddam supporting AL Qaida, was the main reason we went to war.

It is incredible that Bush can stand up and lie to the country like he did yesterday. To expect us to believe that congress got the same intel Bush-Cheney had, that it was never cooked and that Bush-Cheney are just innocent dupes in all this is beyond comprehension.

What Bush should do now is apologize and explain his real motives, but he is so inherently dishonest it is next to impossible for him to ever tell the truth, about almost anything.
