Why can't they learn to get along with everyone? Why are they killing innocents in Spain, UK, New York, Beslan, India, in their own lands and Israel? Why are they so incapable of integrating with the modern world that they riot in France? What is wrong with those people and their culture?
I think a root cause of many of the problems in the Muslim world (at least in terms of their interactions with non-Muslims) is that the Muslims haven't separated church and state yet. Without that separation it makes it very hard to live in a society or (to a lesser degree) next to a country that is not Islamic. I say "next to a country" because you often find that there are too many Muslims on the "wrong" side of the border, a la Kashmere, Palestine, Afghanistan, Chechnya, Sudan, Timor, Aceh, Philippines, etc. |
