HIPAA is totally Hipocritical to the patriot act. Opposite ends of the spectrum in violation of your rights and privacy... HIPAA: It cost small business a fortune in time and compliance, education, and general paranoya in following rules which are just common sense... It costs a small practitioner more money than u can imagine to try to navigate the veil of mis representation that HIPAA allows an insurance Co. It is an UNQUANTIFIED bourdon (BAGPIPE) on things such as Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) which i can't explain other than in FRAGMENTED COMPLAINTS AND ABSTRACT NEURON MEANDERING.... If somebody could adequately explain the economic impact of ERISA and it's relation to the veil of HIPAA i would be so enamored...lol
