Hmmm. I haven't seen those posts you referred to. Must not frequent those threads. The rest of what you say I'll agree with. One of the sticking points the US is having with numerous other gov'ts and trade organizations is US farm subsidies (and other gov'ts subsidizing farmers in defense). WTH is the US doing subsidizing farmers? Haven't we repeatedly been told we have the most efficient in the world? Why should they need subsidies then? (I think we'll hear from the US midwest soon.)
