If it had been me 60 years ago deciding the fate of the Jews, I would have given them carte blanche to immigrate to the US. That would have been a better solution. But I wonder if they would have accepted? Jews are inextricably connected to that land due to their religion. Sixty years ago, Americans wouldn't have allowed it. ted
