What I know is that "Clintons" economy fell down badly before he left office, dooming either a President Bush or Gore to suffering from a loss of previously expected federal tax revenues. There's the rub, and one noted by economists witnessing the Nasdaq fall, prior to Bush taking office.

Now, I want federal spending slashed to the bone. It isn't surprising that Bush hasn't helped much if at all to accomplish that, and I have no reason to suspect Gore would have either, nor any other Democrat or Republican Presidential Candidate, for that matter.

Re: "please explain who's going to pay off his trillions in new deficits. How, when and who? If you have no answer, you lose the debate."

How foolish are you? I'm a Libertarian. What debate? LOL. I didn't vote for Bush in 2000, and I certainly can't lose a debate in which you falsely imply I have taken a position which I simply have not. While I don't believe you understand the importance of slashing spending, I also would never claim increasing deficits are a good thing. Did you see above where I said "Bush hasn't helped....?" That statement directly applies to the deficit. Take it to the bank.
