nonsense... they are offering hiring bonus to anyone to work at mcdonals other locations. paying prime hourly rates to clean up streets etc. they cannot get help.

i believe there was a post elsewhere on si that disputes the rumor about migrant workers taking job. just the opposite they cannot get the new orleans people back to work. One company visited several shelters in other states offering jobs and relocation to come back empty.
