Well, why not?!! But in the conext in which our discussion is centered I was talking about the information technology and all mechansims used for the simplification of owning that technology at low costs. This may include NCs, Digital/Web TVs, phones, PCs, etc. The infrastructure that provides this ownership has manifested in the new computing model as specified by Sun's Java technology. Thus the PC desktop as defined by Microsoft/Intel is no longer the computing world.

A "long, long" is a relative term! With the rate major software vendors (as well as startups) are concentrating on developing Java development tools as well as applications, this can be a very short short term to go!

You continue stating:

In my opinion only, Microsoft OS will end up belonging to history books long before Sun's worksation business come to an end! But in all seriousness, it is still amazing to see that people continue to think of Sun as just a UNIX and/or workstation business entity.

You state:
> P.S I am not taking sides.

I am not taking sides either eventhough SUNW is my number 1 core holding and have had it now for almost 3 years, I used to own MSFT and INTC shares (for over 4 years) till 5 months ago. However decided to sell and buy more of SUNW and I am most grateful to Sun since the percentage return on Sun has been far far more than that of MSFT and INTC for me.
