Hi everybody,
Came across a new book, "Empire of Debt" by Bonner and Wiggin.
They go on and on about the history of the US the intent being to put today's brink of collapse into perspective. Curiously identical conclusions to that of our Tobago expert. They think gold protects, real estate in the US is ready to revert back to normal prices or less, and all kinds of surely nonsensical ideas.
They quote approvingly from Buffett who talks about Squanderville, i.e. the US and Thriftville, presumably Asia.
Anyway if you happen to think that printing money everlastingly is fine and America's rule of law will attract foreign capital in ever increasing amounts etc. this book might persuade you otherwise.
I recommend this book.
