You are replying to an extraordinarily silly statement. At any given moment, a vast amount of money is not in the process of changing hands and yet it is money.

The comment to which you are replying also assumes incorrectly that when the banking system creates money, or even when the Federal Reserve creates money, it is literally printing bills.

I am not finding fault with what you say or with your question, but I wonder if what you are responding to is worth a serious response.
