Interesting -- I mention slavery as an issue that religious people opposed in the past, and you want to talk about how black Africans sold their own tribesman. Actually, by the way, that's false, the people who were sold as slaves were captured during wars, just as they are now in places like the Sudan.

Before the history books were revised to be PC, we learned that most of the slaves were sold by other Blacks of Africa.

I've not seen any evidence that "most" were captured during wars....

I know some of them were, but don't think most of them were. Would be interesting to know actually.

I know one of my ancestors was a "White Slave" captured by Cromwell's men in Ireland. Actually, he was one of the landowners, and watched most of the people in his village captured, killed, or enslaved....He was William Durkee, and became a slave in Barbados....Eventually he made it to America with his father-in-law, Robert Cross.
