Addi, Re -- Fed-Ex NC.. This is a quote from the article Thin will be in at Federal Express next year, when the company replaces thousands of 3270 terminals and PCs with network computers, and ramps up a strategy to write internal applications in Java. Not there yet. It will be next years (thats 3 years for an NC). Today the pc is the major component of computing. People on the AMD thread, have used similar arguments time and time again. I do not doubt the internet as a paradigm of the future. In the 80's IBM did not recognize the value of the pc. Today both Intel and MSFT know what it is and do not underestimate its value, so your analogy of the 80's does not apply.. I am skeptical of Sun's ability to implement a revolution, given that a whole host of others are also in the game. Stockman P.S when you post real data, not promises, I'll reply.
