Darrel, Excellent Post! Nomai is a small fly in the eye of IOM and I feel that their legal department will be able to fight this one off in due time. However, it does muddy the waters just at a time when IOM is coming out with several new products, especially the Jaz II drive. As a long term holder of IOM I am concerned with these events as they could well affect the upward momentum of the stock... Luckily, the Friday action was light and we only saw some limited erosion in price.

By the way, I guess not many of the SI thread go over to the Motley Fool message area on the internet as there has been some dark and troubling rumors being discussed there. Check out messages from 600 - 619 about a mystery group who are about to announce a new technology that would allow 1.44 meg floppies to be reformatted to 50 megs and that this new "atomic drive" as it has been called on the thread will be completely downward compatible with the 1.44 floppy!

The poster, KIZ100, claims to have inside information on this new drive and that both the developer and OEMs are working toward a release of this product in the near future. However, this guy does not reveal any names of the developers as this might be life threatenting to him!! How about that... Anyway, this has gotten the folks of the IOM thread stirred up as you can imagine.

Just when you thought is was safe to go back in the water!

Well, just another brick for the WORRY WALL.

Its going to be an interesting week with options expiry to look forward to again. Good Luck to all IOM posters here. Check out the internet version of the Motley Fool at fool.com. Mel
