Would the "idle rich" include famous entrepreneurs like Michael Dell?

No, but it will likely include some of his grandkids who will be multi, multi millionaires in return for nothing more than being born. In my mind there is something wrong with that.

I think earned wealth is great and deserved. You work hard, you do something great, or you just get lucky, and you deserve the subsequent wealth. But there is something wrong with inherited wealth. Mike Dell's grandkids and their families are no more entitled to start off with $100 million in the bank than your or my grandkids, in my opinion. I know current law says that's the way it is, but its not the best system.

I don't no the solution off hand, but there should be some way to tie personal assets to personal achievement - the very wealthy should have done something exceptional that the average person has not. In the case of entrepreneurs its obvious what they have done, but in the case of inherited money, all they have done is get themselves born.
