The point that Kerry made at the time is not the BS excuse thrown out today but instead look at what he actually said" "When I vote to give the President of the United States the authority to use force, if necessary, to disarm Saddam Hussein, it is because I believe that a deadly arsenal of mass destruction in his hands is a threat, and a grave threat, to our security." The flip flop that we have been listening to is sully. John Kerry believed there was a grave threat at the time. That is why he approved actions against Iraq. He was concerned for our security. He was wrong at the time, but he was sincere about his fears which are consistent with his letter to Clinton dated 1998 regarding actions against Iraq. The stuff that AS has been throwing out are silly political lies.
