I don't think Bush can rebuild trust. I think other republicans can, but it's hard to do it right now, with Bush hogging the floor.

I think Democrats need to rebuild trust too. They were asleep at the wheel, in terms of giving us a real opposition party. They were craven in the face of a real threat to us, and they put up a puny little fight. I'm pretty mad at them for not giving Bush a heck of a lot more trouble when he took us in to Iraq.
