I have been smoking for about 35 years. I do not suffer from any withdrawal pains. I do not think there is a very good case for a strong addiction to nicotine, a mild one perhaps, but not a strong addiction.

I understand some people actually find it easier to quit if they think of it as a bad habit. Some people seem to think it is impossible to quit because they are addicted. Actually addictions are easier to get over than a bad habit.
