Saddam was not an imminent threat, had no WMD, no delivery systems for WMD, no AL Qaida alliance, no nothing that related to 9-11 or any urgent threat.

Bush-Cheney lied to us because they personally decided it would be a great idea to invade, grab the oilfields and occupy the place, swiping an election or two in the process by calling anti-war critics "traitors".

They made up the rationale for the war after they decided to start it. And they didn't want the UN's help either, or they'd have to share the oil money. It was a big ripoff scheme gone awry. Look at how much Cheney's Halliburton made. Now we're the ones paying the price. It was also the most poorly planned war since Vietnam. Almost guaranteed to fail. And Bush-Cheney don't even seem to care about the troops or the cost of it all. They're out of touch with reality.
