Bush-Cheney deliberately lied about the WMD. They controlled the intel and they gave congress only what they wanted to share with congress, only intel which backed up their dishonest rationale for rushing into war. Plus Cheney was over aty the CIA arm-twisting to skew the intel at its source. This is the key issue now. And the reason Pat Roberts is trying to stonewall and delay the Phase 2 investigation into pre-war intel which the Bushies promises more than a year ago. Doesn't matter if senate democrats were fooled by Bush-Cheney lies and phony intel. The liars are the ones to blame, not the victims of their lies. And we were all victims. Even I believed them at first. Why not? Who believed Bush-Cheney were just making it all up back then? We wanted to trust our president, regardless of his political party.
